I really hate the fans who cant accept the cast. Nikki is so talented, that is what go her the role, not friendship or favoritism. She is also beautiful. To say if she will outshine the rest of the cast...I'm not too sure. I really cant wait to see Rob playing Edward, so he'll most likely be my favorite. But I'm not sure who will come in second, have to wait and see I suppose. :]

In all the interviews I've seen with her she seems like a sweetheart, so I have no problem with her whatsoever.

She seems very down to earth and all around nice. I think people should just accept the fact that the actors chosen to play the roles are not going to be incarnations of what the reader had in mind. A lot of people don't like Rob or Kristen, I think they should all just shut up and be happy they get a movie.

I wish people would stop worrying about how this movie is going to turn out. If its good, then its good, if its bad, then its just like a lot of other book to movie stories. From what I've seen it looks like its going to be good.

Well, first off, to answer the question being put to us, No I do not think that Nikki will overshadow the other cast members, but I also do not think she will be overshadowed herself. Nikki is a very talented actress and I believe she will do marvelously as the beautiful Rosalie Hale but I believe the other actors and actresses all have great talent as well and will also do well as the characters they will be playing. As for Nikki being type cast, I think it's sad that she is going through that but at the same time she is not the first to have to endure such a thing. Eventually, like so many before her, she will be cast in a role that is unlike any she has done before and with the talent that she has she will undoubtedly do well and show the world that she is not just another pretty face. Yes, Nikki is very pretty, even gorgeous, thus the reason for her being cast in roles as the "hot" girl that has the women viewers jealous and the men viewers wanting to see more, because unfortunately that is often what brings in the money these days, but it is definitely not the only thing that brings in money; charisma, personality, and great acting skills still do the job as well and Nikki not only has the pretty face but she also has the rest of those skills as well. I am sure it is tough for Nikki to be seen as just a pretty face in the acting industry right now, but that will pass. It just takes time, and experience The more she keeps going for, the more she will be noticed, and the more she is noticed, the more likely her name is to come to someone's mind when thinking of actors to be cast. I personally think that Twilight will put her another step forward, because as many die-hard Twilight fans know, there is more to Rosalie Hale than meets the eye.

Its unfortunate that people only see her as evie from thirteen. They only inspect the character that she played and not who she really is. Shes talented, beautiful inside and out, and is making all the right career paths. I cant wait to see her as rosalie in twilight, and more of her work

I think that Nikki Reed is extremely respectable and is not only a pretty face, but major competition for other actresses of her age such as Lindsey Lohan who is more so notorious for her drinking and family issues then her acting ability. No offense to Lohan, but she is no where near as nobel as our dearest Nikki. She will be a threat in the world of acting, and not for her face alone. As for measuring her up with the others in the Twilight cast I believe that she will do just as well as they will which means that they will all do really really well in Hollywood or whatever company they go to for auditions and whatnot.

From my perspective, she is giving actresses of her generation a VERY good name, we need more people such as herself and Kristen Stewart as well as the other females in the cast of Twilight. Down to Earth and real actors.

I don;t think she'll overshadow anyone...but she WILL do an AMAZING job in twilight!!! I really agree with lotrfrk16, Sarah S., and Melanie. She is a really good actor and didn't get the part because of favortism...but based on skills. Besides...Nikki is just plain Vamtastic!

I will admit that the first second I read that Nikki was playing Rosalie I was a little surprised. She wasn't someone I saw as the character simply because Rosalie was this tall, beautiful, pale blonde and Nikki is a gorgeous, tanned brunette. But after that initial second I couldn't be happier. She is a brilliant and intelligent actress who really grasps the characters she plays. She is going to be brilliant.

I'm not sure if she will steel the show from the other actors though. The great thing about the Twilight movie is that they have really went out of their way to cast amazing talented young actors and not just a bunch of people that simply look good. Although the cast is absolutely beautiful they also have the skill to bring these characters alive on screen and that is what all we 'Twilighters' were wanting. I mean, you can see the chemistry and commitment oozing from them even in the sneak peaks, behind the scenes clips we have been treated to over the past few months.

So I'm really happy that the part of Rosalie was given to Nikki, we totally trust that she will bring Rosalie alive (or as alive as a vampire can be lol) on the big screen and I can't wait to see her.

I don't think Nikki will overshadow anyone really. I really dislike how many fans are complaining and shou8ld really just get over the fact that Nikki IS Rosalie period. I really love how she has respect for herself and doesn't take advantage of the way she looks to excel in the Hollywood. I think the other stars of Twilight would be worried about her overshadowing them.

Nikki is a very talented Actess and I think she will be a very very good Rosalie. The will do her best, and I think thats enough. I really love her acting and I´m so excited to see her in Twilight. She seems to be a really nice and down to earth person... so give her a Chance to show that she will be a perfect Rosalie!

I think Nikki is a great person; personality wise and look wise. But my opinion, which i am FREELY allowed to post here, is that I know this movie is going to be... not good. She's half way there to being Rosalie, and no complaint to her, because I think shes a decent Rose, and for me, decent is one of the highest ranks I give the cast. Second, I feel atached to Rosalie as much as I feel atached to the other Cullens. I love them all and I don't hate Rosalie at all. Bella, however, irritates me sometimes, but I don't hate her either.

The vampires are supposed to be insanely gorgeous, because they aren't real people. Only if Stephenie's vampires come out of the book and play these roles are they going to be perfect. And that's only perfect for Stephenie. People have different opinions on how each of the characters look like, and to me, Nikki is very pretty and I am confident that she is going to be great.

We haven't even seen the movie yet, so I really don't know how people can judge yet. Just because Rob was Cedric, Taylor was Sharkboy, and Nikki was in thirteen doesn't mean that they are going to be those people that they played in those separate roles.

I admit, at the beginning, she did seem cold and rude, but she's explained to Bella why, and she seems to be making a genuine effort to be kinder. She's been through Hell, and it really says something that she made the effort to help Bella understand why she was so unkind to her. I think Nikki Reed will do a fantastic job as Rosalie. But I am not sure if she will outshine the other cast members , especially in the first movie because Rosalie doesn't have a large role in the first book. Also Kirsten Stewart ( Bella ) and Robert Pattinson ( Edward ) are the main characters and , in my opinion, the most interesting and complex. The most buzz right now is surrounding those two stars and how their characters right now are going to be portrayed, of course their is curiosity to see all the characters Rosalie included. I'm probably one of the few people who accepted the casting choices for EVERY character from day one. Personally, I think every single actor who has been cast in the Twilight movie has enormous potential and will exceed even beyond the fans' expectations. I am Team PATTINSON and Team EVERY SINGLE ACTOR IN THIS MOVIE. =]

As for Nikki Reed: I think she's PERFECT! The only other movie I've seen her in is Thirteen, and she was phenomenal in that movie so I am really pumped to see her again in Twilight. She's humble, she's honest and she seems like a great, down-to-earth person. I think she'll be a great Rosalie. GO NIKKI!

This movie is going to be difficult for fans of the book--we all know that the books and the movie have differences. When readers have certain expectations, sometimes they are disappointed with the movie's casting. However, how could someone look at Nikki and not see that she is perfect as Rosalie? She's a beautiful girl! The part of Rosalie in Twilight is relatively small, so I hope they make the other books into movies so that we can see more of Nikki, and see how she brings Rosalie to life on screen!

I dont think that shes as pretty as the Rosalie in my head. I pictured her so much pretty. When I first saw that Nikki had been cast for Rosalie Hale's part, I thought 'wow, theres a perfect Rosalie'. Not sarcastically. I seriously think she's going to do amazing. And I don't think we should be looking at Stephenie Meyer's vision of the movie anymore, because the movie should be loved completely separate from the book. Or at least, that's what I've learned after five Harry Potter movies.

I have to say, at first, I was unsure whether she would make a good Rosalie, but that was mainly because I hadn't seen her in anything before, and she didn't look the thr Rosalie I imagined - but who does? Since then, I have seen Thirteen and Lords of Dogtown, and I think she is amazingly talented. All doubts about her playing Rosalie have gone, she'll be awesome!
As to whether she'll out shine the other actors.. I don't know. To be honest, I think all the actors are perfect for their roles, and will all do amazingly. I know Twilight is mainly about Bella and Edward, but I think all the characters are extremely important, and so the actors will balance each other out. They'll all be noticed.

I absolutely love Nikki as Rosalie, I think she'll do an amazing job. Since Rose is my favorite character I was really worried about who would be cast in the role. I was a bit skeptical in the beginning since I had never seen her in anything, but since then I have fallen in love with the idea of her playing Rosalie and cannot wait for the movie when I can actually see her portraying Rose. She so fits the role, she's beautiful, talented and has an amazing presence on screen. Rosalie doesn't have much part in the first book so Nikki overshadowing the main characters probably wont happen only because of the screen time, but I'm sure when the last three books get turned into movies she will definitely Shine!

I agree with Lindsay on the subject of hating Rosalie. I don't think anyone who has read the books would hate her because by now they would understand why she was rude and harsh towards Bella. As I said in the previous paragraph Rosalie is my favorite character I've loved her since I first read Twilight, because I knew that there was something behind her character to explain why she acted the way she did. Obviously she had to be pretty spectacular for Emmett the cuddly goof ball bear to fall in love with her for more than just her beauty. Maybe some fans still dislike her, but hate is a strong word.

I don't think maligned is a great word to describe Rosalie, actually it's a horrible word to describe her. Rose isn't evil she actually had part in saving Bella from the multiple villains in the books. She voted against Bella to save her, to help her understand what she would be giving up. I'd say that's a pretty nice person. Also I don't think looking out for your family and husbands safety is an evil thing. She has been through hell and back in her life or afterlife, and like Lindsay stated I wonder if you have read the books because if you had, I don't think you'd be writing words and statements such as "maligned" and "sympathize with Bella and hate Rosalie Hale!" It's understandable that at the beginning people would be a bit taken a back by the way Rosalie acted towards Bella since she is the main character and everyone loves her, but once she explained, fans seemed to warm up to her character. It took a lot for Rosalie to open up to Bella and show she's a strong person who is trying to be kinder for the sake of all the Cullens and Bella who will soon be one of them. So choosing accurate wording for the character would be a lot nicer.

These characters are real to me and to the millions of Twilighters. I think Rosalie is a great complex character and I believe Nikki will do a fantastic job at playing her. I want like so many people for this movie to be awsome and for the people playing the roles to be true to the characters. That's what I want and that's what I'm sure I'll see.

Without a doubt. She already is! The amount of fans she's won herself thanks to the MTV clips is outstanding & I'm actually proud of her. Whether you want to believe it or not, the Twilight fandom is ugly. There, I've said it. The bashing Nikki, Kristen and Rob have endured just because of this stupid book is beyond belief. I know some Twilighters are embarrassed by the bad behaviour and I guess that's something - but overall, I just thank God I'm not a part of the fandom, nor will I ever be. Nikki would have had every right to be sullen or stand-offish in Twilight interviews but she's been the reverse. She's open, sweet and funny and many have just fallen in love with her. That's just speaks volumes about her personality. She's a beautiful kid, outside and in and I have no doubt she'll be the best thing about this movie.

As to her acting, Nikki has tremendous screen presence; gravitas. You can't help but watch her and she brings depth to every character she's played. Nikki has the ability to show things are going on inside a character, rather than just show what's on the surface. I can honestly say she's my favorite actor of the moment, female or male. I just love watching her films. I've only seen Rob in Potter and Kristen in two things, one I hated the other I enjoyed. Both are good actors but I do believe, given the chance (Rosalie is a small part, right?) Nikki could totally steal their thunder, yes.

jeez, i can't stand when people can't accept the cast. what i hate even more is when they hate someone who's perfect for the role. i think Nikki is going to be amazing, and they really don't have a reason to think she's 'not pretty enough.' Nikki will be great! She is beautiful, and seeing the official Twilight movie photos with her blond hair, she is exactly as I pictured Rosalie looking! I don't think that Nikki is a perfect Rosalie (look at Nikki and look how Steph describes Rosalie). Nikki is a really good actress and cute girl, but definately not Rosalie. I can't fully accept this casting choice, but she will be good.

Look, Nikki is a gorgeous actress and she'll do great as Rosalie. She's not going to overshadow anyone, or be overshadowed by anyone. The entire Twilight cast is totally awesome and they're all perfect for their characters. Don't go around badmouthing Catherine Hardewick; I doubt she'd pick favorites among the cast. She's been working hard along with everyone else to make this film as good as it can be for all of the TRUE Twilight fans. Quit dissing the cast and the crew. THEY ROCK!!!

I'm sorry, but anyone that thinks Nikki Reed is perfect for the part of Rosalie clearly hasn't read a single description of Rosalie in any of Meyer's books. Reed is not tall, model-like, nor is she breathtakingly beautiful. Pretty, yes. Beautiful, no.

From the interviews I've seen, Reed seems like a very nice, easy to get along with person. Supporting her career is one thing but saying she's the perfect Rosalie is just plain ignorant.

What I have to say about Nikki as Rosalie could take up an entire paragraph, and the rest of your day, if I tried. But to keep it short and simple, Nikki is talented enough that she can pull off the role of Rosalie as needed. She already has the presence on screen to be as powerful a presence as Rosalie needs to be, as Stephanie describes her in the book. But I also believe she is talented enough that she knows how to keep that in check, and not over do the part.

Trust Catherine, and trust Stephanie. If Stephanie disapproved, I'm sure something would have been done already. Catherine is a terrific director and wouldn't put someone in a role where they don't need to be placed.

I have to say that there are a good amount of readers who do like the character of Rosalie. And most of the Twilight fans support Nikki and don't believe in the favoritism theory going around. I absolutely love her in the interviews and I think she'll be a great Rosalie!

I'm also going to have to disagree. I think Reed is a great actress and has a great career ahead of her, but she won't out shine the rest.

I personaly think they could've found someone more fitting. Reed is very beautiful, just not as a blonde. She's actually the only person I think they could've done a better job with. But I also believe that she is a great actress and I don't think that her talents will keep her in the shadows either.

I think it should be pointed out that most of the comments that you sited, Jed, were made in the very early stages of 'Twilight: The Movie'.
When castings were being announced (Nikki's included), a decent portion of Twilighters were still, to put it lightly, iffy about the movie in general.
Not any actor who was cast was accepted whole heartedly, especially not the Cullens.

When I picture the Cullens as Stephenie describes them, I'm sure I'm not the only person who pictures other worldly, breath taking, inhuman beauty.
Now when the actors who were playing the Cullens started being announced, I think that Twilighters (myself included) weren't quite pleased with the fact that everybody was, well, human!
We all wanted vampires (and were a bit peeved with the fact that the only option for casting were humans)!
I don't really think that it was Nikki specifically that caused an uproar with the Twi-Hards. Nobody that would have been cast as Rosalie, Nikki Reed or not, would have stood a chance against our high standards.
Stephenie Meyer describes Rosalie as, basically, the most beautiful person in the world. Casting someone who lived up to that title, and yet still had the acting chops to portray someone with as much personality as Rosalie would have been, lets face it, impossible.

As I grow more and more used to the concept of Twilight the Movie, I'm more and more willing to step out of the tight square that I had packed all of my expectations into.

I'm starting to realize (and I don't think I'm the only one) that I would have been more upset if I had seen Twilight, and Rosalie was extraordinarily beautiful, yes, but couldn't act to save her life.
The portrayal of Rosalie is much more important to me then how Statuesque she is, and I'm glad that that's what the casting director paid attention to.

With Nikki Reed, we get someone who not only is gorgeous, but can pull of Rosalie.

I'm just sorry that it took me months to realize it.

Nikki is a fantastic actress and one of the reasons I saw Thirteen was A. Catherine scripted. B. Nikki seemed so realistic. What more can I say, she is perfect for Rosalie and she does not overdo her parts.

I think all of the cast are important. Rosalie is a very important role in the Twilight Saga. Especially in the other books. It wouldn't be the same without her. I think Nikki is perfect to do Rosalie, I really think she can pull it off. . Well I guess as perfect as any human can get to Rosalie Hale. I'm not sure if Nikki Reed sparkles in sunlight in the literal sense, but you really do sparkle, metaphorically. I don't see anyone of the cast being overshadowed by anyone else. To me they are all important to the story. While the story does seem to revolve around Bella's attraction to Edward it wouldn't come to be without all the Cullens or Mike, Tyler, Eric, Jacob, etc. Without Mike Edward wouldn't get jealous. Without Tyler the car accident wouldn't happen. Their all important and I think they will all shine when their on stage. I know I'll probably be staring at the screen like a crazy woman try to get in every detail. I think the cast is perfect and everyone will do well.

I think Nikki will be a good Rosalie. I'd rather have someone who can act instead of someone who just looks the part. I definitely think when we see the film her looks won't matter, just how she portrays Rosalie.

They are picked, the film is done and now, if you don't like the cast don't go see the movie, but stop complaining about it and get over it.

Nikki Reed is one of the few members of the cast I totally agree with. Robert Pattinson has never looked right to me, but she's completely Rosalie! When her casting was first announced, I'll admit I was a little skeptical with her brown hair and homley face, but she's definitely pulling Rosalie off! Blond hair on her is amazing and she has that perfect "Rosalie stare". She's one of two that I think fits her role perfectly-the other being Kellan Lutz.

'Fans of the books would certainly sympathize with Bella and hate Rosalie Hale!' < For me it's the other way around. After Eclipse I hate Bella and love Rose. Unless Bella drastically changes in BD, or does something redeeming, I'll end the series hating her. Anyway, I love Nikki, she's so perfect for Rosalie and from what I've seen (clips, pictures) I'm so excited to see the whole cast, especially Rob Kellan and Nikki, because I think they were by far the best casting choices OHHH and Mike, haha!

First of all, Nikki Reed is gorgeous. In Rosalie costume and out. Second of all, she is an *amazing* actress. Yes, there are lots of lovely blonde actresses. But it is also true that many said lovely blonde actresses can't act to save their lives and there is loads more to the character of Rosalie than a pretty face. Thirdly, Catherine Hardwicke understands the book and has worked with Nikki before and obviously knows her talents. Fourthly, Nikki has read all 3 books and understands the character of Rosalie to a point. And most importantly of all, THE CAST OF TWILIGHT IS PERFECT. You can either whine about it or accept it, but please, for the LOVE of all things holy Stop acting like toddlers that didn't get the exact My Little Pony that they wanted.
Stephenie DOES NOT want fans acting like some of you have. Look at yourself before critizising someone. And watch Thirteen, you'll be convinced that Nikki Reed is perfect too.
Support the cast or go back to Preschool, where some of you should learn a little lesson about KINDNESS.

I personally think there is NOTHING wrong with nikki as rosalie, she's a very beautiful young lady that has the skills and talents to portrait any character she wants.
And i just hate how some people called themselves "FANS" and judge the cast without even seeing the movie yet.

Nikki is an awesome person(from what I can infer based on her comments); however, I don't think that ANY of the cast will really outshine each other in the movie (hopefully) because the Twilight cast isn't something you can disect and hope to see the disected pieces function without the other. ALL the characters are needed, and I firmly believe that the actors and actresses chosen are perfect for their roles. So, be quiet haters! :]

I've heard a lot about how much people hate Nikki and some of the things people say really bothers me. I think she's a great actress and will do a terrific job playing Rosalie but some people automatically judge her by the role she's playing. It's nice to see that there are people in the business who don't make a big show about what is said about them. They know the truth behind their own lives while others come up with crazy things to say as a way to entertain the public. Let me just say; Nikki Reed, you're great and no matter what bad things people say there are always going to be those of us who support you. Personally, I think the entire Twilight cast is perfect and I don't know how much longer I will be able to wait to see the movie

Nikki is fantastic. She's got an amazing talent. She is absolutly perfect for Rosalie. And it really comes down to the prformance, not how well the actor/actress looks like the character So she'll do just fine...no, she'll do brillantly, as well as the other cast members.

Why are people picking on Nikki? She's a sweetheart, and will ace the role of rosalie! I'm a total and complete Twilight fanitic, and i give her my stamp of approval. (and i'm a total twilght snob, nobody but the best can pose as my beloved cullens and co.) She'll shine, along with ashley, rob, kristen, peter, kellen, and all the others.

I don't inderstand how can openly hate someone they don't even know... Nikki Reed looks the part and she is a good actor. So why all the stink over something we can't control? We should be happy that we are getting a movie at all. If you watch the Twilight Tuesday vidoes on MTV.com, Nikki is informed and surprising well-versed in the novels. Where other actors only read the script, she actually read the books... very surprising! I commend her for going beyond the norm. And I think she will be a great Rosalie.

even though rosalie is described as the most beautiful person in the world, casting a character has so much more to it than just looks. i think nikki is beautiful, but i pictured a completely different rosalie. everyone has their individual ideas as to who the characters are and what they look like in their head, i guess nikki's just the casting director's one.

Nikki is a very capable and pretty actress. (Someone said Nikki played her role in Thirteen very realistic, well that's because the movie is based on her teenage life. )

I'm sure she'll do fine but that does not change the fact that she doesn't fit the description of Rosalie, like someone already pointed out. Nikki radiates warmth whilst Rosalie is supposed to be the icecold, beautiful, model-like. And that, I'm sorry to say, is just something Nikki is not.

Nikki is a fantastic actress, and I have no doubt that she'll be an amazing Rosalie. This brief interview/bio shows that she is a down-to-earth, very nice person, who doesn't deserve all those mean comments people dish out for her. People should just start accepting the cast. It's been decided on, the movie has been filmed, and it won't change now, not for the next movies in the series even. So, the haters out there, DEAL WITH IT.

In my honest OPINION, i personally did not like who was chosen for the cast and i know they can't please everyone but Nikki Reed is the BEST actress to play Rosalie. So maybe she can help keep up my spirit about thins movie. I hope it doesn't suck because i REALLY love the books. Here's for the Best. Congrats Nikki!

I really hate it when people bash on actors before they know their acting abilities, and before they know what a little transformation can do. I was a little opposed to Nikki playing Rosalie in the beginning...but then she was transformed into this totally beautiful person (not like she wasn't before). She is really kind, from what I've heard from people. And she probably had the most bashing.

I am eager to see her portray Rosalie. Oh, and I saw "Thirteen" and she was really good in it. She deserved an award. I also saw "Minnie's First Time" (I think that's the title) and she did very good in that. I am not opposed anymore!

With a cast this talented, it's easy to try and debate who will outshine the other. But I'd like to think it'll be even - instead of outshining each other, they'll complement each other. Everyone has something different they're bringing to the table, so each cast member will shine in a different way.

That being said, Rosalie is an extremely misunderstood character, and I can't wait to see how Nikki portrays her.

Hey, actors are actors. Nikki is awesome, maybe better than the others, maybe not, maybe just the same. But really...how dramatically different, better or worse, can one actress be from another. They all have different roles too...Rosalie has to be pig-headed...Edward has to be...awkward in a way, because he is new to the whole love thing, Bella has to be different from other girls...its uncomparable. They are all going to Shine. Rosalie will be awesome, i know it. Nikki has talent, she will make Rosalie the Rosalie we all love (well, hate )

The first time I saw her, I thought WoW, what a great job Catherine did in casting her. I've never seen her in a movie, but from just watching all the interviews, I think she is a terrific person. I also think she is absolutely beautiful. some of the early fans were just sounding off without having any knowledge of what it takes to be an actor. I am thrilled with Nikki and I hope she see's all the love being given to her on this site. thanks for giving us the chance to let her know there are lots of us that think she will be great!

Catherine did not pick her for the role of Rosalie because they were friends. Cathering picked her becase Nikki can do that role and she can do it the best.

Nikki Reed was awesome in Thirteen. Very manipulative character. Rosalie Hale is a very harsh, tell it like it is character in Twilight. I think Nikki Reed will do great as Rosalie, since she has shown her "conniving side" in Thirteen. People have to accept the movie is not going to be the same as the book. Books are usually always better than the movie adaptations. But at least we get to see Twilight come to life right? Be grateful for that, even if the movie isn't word for word. The movie will still be great.

Hopefully people will stop being so judgmental and see that she is indeed a great actress, and that's what matters most. Because I'm sure that there are hundreds of models who look just like how Rosalie is described that can't act to save their life. If they got someone that looked like her that couldn't act, it would ruin the part. Plus, Nikki Reed might be able to give Rosalie the depth she needs and deserves, because she's not just another typical mean girl.

I think it's ridiculous that people can't accept the cast. OF COURSE, they aren't going to be EXACTLY like their characters, but they're all wonderfully talented actors/actresses who will give everything they have to be their characters. Besides, this isn't Twilight: The Book it's Twilight the movie inspired and based on the book.
Bottom line: Nikki's incredibly talented. Embrace it.

Okay. So I don't love nor hate Nikki. I believe there are better actresses looks wise that would have done better... AKA: Olivia Wilde. But I think Nikki can pull this off magnificently actress wise. Looks wise, she's okay for the role of Rosalie, actress wise, I think she'll do very well. Just give it time, you'll see. Catharine knows there are a lot of fans that will be upset with her if she makes one mistake. The cast was done pretty well. Did you know Robert is in his 20's, and he's playing a 17 year old. An immortal 17 year old. At first I thought he was too old, but really if you think about it for a minute, at the age of 20, you are pretty much done growing for a while. His looks won't change much which is perfect, with Kristen, she just turned 18, she will grow, but it will match the books fairly well. Unless they make the movies two years apart, Kristen may not look the same as she did in 2008. But anyways, I think Nikki will do a fine job for Rosalie. I am very excited to see Ashley play Alice. Alice is my favorite character in the books, and I can't wait to see her portray Alice. All in all, very good choices for the cast!!!

C'mon, guys. The Twilight fandom should be warm and welcoming to its real-life Cullens. So Nikki Reed does not appear to be statuesque to some people. Who cares? The movie is the physical interpretation of the book, and hate to break it to you, but they couldn't cast actual vampires. She's gorgeous, and she can act. It made me pretty happy.

And besides, we should be praising the Lord that the MTV version wasn't made. Think about it, guys. Which would you rather have: A track star Bella or a Rosalie who isn't quite statuesque enough?

I'm just gonna say it short and simple. I LOVE Nikki Reed. At first I just thought she looked perfect for Rosalie, but when I heard her speak, I literally melted. She is SUCH a Sweetheart!! She's funny, smart, beautiful, and well really, reaally charming. I just feel bad for her that she has to play such a mean role like Rosalie ^^ She made ROSALIE seem like the nicest person, suddenly.
