She would definitely win Blackwell's Worst Dressed Women List if only the fashion critic is still alive, but then again, what can you say about an over-rated pin-up girl who simply can't act but can talk 24/7? Here are some of her most 'witty' commentaries: I don't want to have to be like a Scarlett Johansson - who I have nothing against," she said. "But I don't want to have to go on talk shows and pull out every single SAT word I've every learned to prove, like, 'Take me seriously, I am intelligent, I can speak.' [ read more ] - - -
- - - That's what she said in an interview with Esquire where she also criticized Zac Efron and Robert Pattinson as being 'too pretty'. While tMF tries to ignore celebrity trash, I just can't help myself for posting this article, since for the last 2 weeks or so, all I can read, even at the IMDb news desk, is the fabulously 'celebral' Megan Fox. I'm not finding it amusing for her to have a go at Scarlett Johansson either. Scarlett is simply way way above her league, and I don't think years of training in acting workshops or being directed by a critically-acclaimed filmmaker can help her catch up or even capture half of Johansson's acting achievements. Oh, smoking marijuana would not make her a competent actress either, it'll just make her lose her diet! Even on the drug's potent nature and effects, she can't get it right! Of course, after being cast in the Transformer series and having a go at Lara Croft, the sexy lady felt she has been given a license to trash every celebrity or legitimate actors she could think of. I have no idea how she was brought up as a young woman or would even waste my time trying to dig in and find out what she is really like. She also made fun and criticized the fictional character Wonder Woman, but seems thrilled to be associated with another female fictional character, the one Angelina Jolie made popular via movies, Lara Croft. Here's another: You can't be a sex symbol 24 hours a day. I can't be a professional celebrity or a professional sexpot. I can't do that to myself. "I just want to work and make the right choices, and study and develop as an actress. "I don't want to be on the cover of every magazine that exists. I want to try not to do that. It's my job to show people something different. This time, it's Empire Magazine doing the interview. While she said quite frankly that she hates to be on the cover of every magazine, it just sounded so false and self-serving. What makes this interview so infuriating is that she was quoted as saying she wanted to study and develop as an actress but will her witty commentaries make her one? I know the definition of 'professional' but I felt she is using the term in the wrong way or perhaps she is not aware of what it really means. Well, being in the know of today's celebrity buzz, she needs to sustain the ride she started, and it seems she'll say just about anything to stay at the top. |
