tMF Search for the Best Twilight Fansites - The Top 3!
News and Updates

I did a bit of an experiment - I intentionally stopped reading any Twilight-related news for a few weeks. I also tried to be 'more critical' of the cast (but that's another story).

I think I learned a few things - as the days passed, I felt that I'm missing 'something' but I remained relentless and adamant in my 'exercise'. The thing is, I know which sites are important to me - the enjoyment and the fascination of reading news, injected with the writer's personal touch seems like the most important. I missed that first and foremost. I guess, it takes more than a big community or a dazzling blog design to keep Twilighters like me 'at home'. So, I asked myself, which Twilight sites I find I missed the most and why they ought to be considered tMF's top 3 Twilight Fansites...

Find out why after the jump!

Cullen Boys Anonymous - [ visit website ] I think I mentioned 'passion' in my description of CBA before. I find that there is this sense of passion in everything I see and read at CBA. Not that they have so much exclusive articles - but that they tried to come up with more than the usual Twilight news which is available anywhere. They make the news personal by injecting their own views and opinions. I also noticed something similar between tMF and CBA - the constant need for self-improvement.
Of course, any blogger can post his or her opinion, but the thing is, whenever the girls (Joyce and Kim) at CBA find something they feel passionate about, they express themselves and let it be known. That's what I'll do in a similar situation...

Confessions of a TwiCrack Addict - [ visit website ] - I am still amazed at the diversity of what this blog can offer! The first time I visited TwiCrack Addict, I felt a bit 'stressed out' for having so much to read and for so little time to explore everything. It's not easy to come up with lots of news, articles, photos, tidbits, trivia - but Lorabell has made everything available for her readers' enjoyment and satisfaction. Come to think of it, even the most demanding of Twilight addicts has no reason to complain.

Indeed, if you're an addict, you simply can't get enough of it all - anything Twilight, that is!

The Twilight Examiner - [ visit website ] -  Our Twilight Examiner has this innate ability to arouse our curiosity by discussing issues we sometimes failed to notice. I believe that's one good quality of a blogger - to offer something newsworthy and to ask for our opinion in the end.  I remember one time when Ms. Bell raised the issue of how some writers used 'sarcasm' just to come up with a Twilight article for their site - traffic being the foremost consideration without any regard to the viewers. I salute her for that.

A bonafide blogger just like Amanda Bell is always interested in completing the cycle between what she initiates and the feedback coming from her viewers.

So, are these the only 3 Twilight sites worth your while? Of course not. As I mentioned, this is already our 3rd search - which means we have already made two choices before. But among the new sites, they happen to be the best, IMO.

I also would love to mention a few more sites that I find I can't live without - if I'm to satisfy my Twilight cravings -
  • Twilight critics may continue to have the opinion that Twilight fans are nothing but a bunch of screaming school girls, but I would suggest they look at the writings and reviews of some of these fans. In particular, I want them to see Life Beyond Twilight.
  • I just love the short welcome intro: TwiFans.com is a social networking website devoted to all things Twilight. This is a place where you don't have to be embarrassed to obsess, talk, blog, live chat and add photos about Twilight with others just like you. Consider them your new TwiFriends. You have your own personal page that you can customize, design your back ground, , add photos and widgets, and add music. Blog on just your page, or to all the TwiFan members & the world. You can join groups and have discussion forums on topics that interest you. We are interested in what you are interested in. We are TwiSpace! Twilight for the people by the people!
