The 'Main', the 'Blitzes', the Trailer...
Movie News

tMF initiated two blitzes! Well, I find it funny (and endearing) how the term 'Blitz' was used when the filmmakers of How To Be made mention of our promo site at the recent Deland screening where the award-winning film participated. Thanks to Jen, who contributed so much to both the HTB and LA blitzes, there is a video that included the mention. Jen recently launched RobPattinson.com - yet another Pattinson fansite but she kept it quite competitive, fun and most of all, updated with all Rob-related news.

Oh yeah, there is a new trailer for How To Be! While Paul Morrison's Little Ashes is distributed by Regent Releasing, Oliver and Justin, the filmmakers of How To Be, recently told me, the movie might become part of IFC's latest releases, and indeed How To Be is now part of IFC's roster. Just watch it!

Two new Blitzes coming up??? You heard me!

I might interest my dear friend at Heath Heathens to work on a blitz site for The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. The indie film is, of course, one of the two last movies ever made by Oscar Best Supporting actor winner, the late Heath Ledger, and I might mention, Andrew Garfield, another tMF favorite, is also part of the cast. I'm hoping we'll have something 'concrete' to show soon...

The other blitz is for Niki Caro's The Vintner's Luck, with a cast led by Gaspard Ulliel and Jeremie Renier. The two talented actors will play unusual lovers. Ulliel is an angel who mingles with mortals and even became physically involved with a man - a winemaker - Renier. Based on Elizabeth Knox's novel, it remains one of my top 3 most anticipated films for 2009.
