- - - Review by David DiMichele - - - Where is Lieutenant Horatio Caine from CSI: Miami when you need him? Well, he’s not coming to the aid of the Portland, Oregon authorities, that’s for sure. Untraceable could be a CSI episode. It’s no good as a movie since it's plot consists of, well, nothing. There isn’t any logical, reasonable, or enjoyable plot line except for the demise of one character. At least CSI: Miami dazzles us with its beautiful people and those one-liners that Horatio always says before a commercial break. Unfortunately no commercial break here. Restlessly, we watch the FBI team, of whom Diane Lane is one, and the Portland Police squad headed by Billy Burke, sleep walk their way through the entire film. Especially the FBI boss. He's played with no pulse whatsoever by Peter Lewis (whose voice could put anyone to sleep). They're all trying to find a 20-year-old boy who detests the authorities and the media for what they did to his father. So he streams live killings over the internet. The more hits he gets , the faster the victim dies. Film Rating: * out of **** Official [ Movie Site ] |
