Every Monday, tMF gives you a rundown on who's making the biggest buzz among the current crop of young talents, based on the hottest news about upcoming movies, awards and nominations, magazine covers and interviews, and special appearances on festivals, talk shows and upcoming TV series or just from anything that make fans more excited about movies! - - -
The Buzz: Definitely a favorite among casting agents, Sturgess wowed the Toronto Film Festival crowd with his powerful portrayal of a spy who infiltrated the ranks of the IRA in the political thriller, Fifty Dead Men Walking. Adding more buzz to the movie is the legal action being pursued by Martin McGartland, the very same person Sturgess played in the film. But after some careful negotiation, McGartland settled his case and the film was shown. Here's what they said about Jim's performance:

Down a notch into second place is last week's leader, Daniel Radcliffe. With two Details mag cover to his credit and numerous interviews, he's definitely the darling of the press. The Buzz: His play Equus will open on 25th September, and while people are waiting anxiously to watch, the vultures have begun making money on Radcliffe by posting his nude photos across the net. Reports Aceshowbiz: "The play's writer Sir Peter Shaffer is furious over the posting of the pics on the Internet. The 82-year-old man said, "It's very, very bad behavior. Whoever did it is a creep." Stage technician Rachel Juozapaitis additionally branded the person who leaked the pics to have turned "art into pornography." He said, "It's just wrong, he still has to do some more Harry Potter films for the kids." Bad news aside, Radcliffe was quite forthcoming about his decision to play the controversial role. Says the actor:

The Buzz: After being cut-off unceremoniously at the MTV VMA awards, Pattinson showed us the kind of gentleman he is, never losing his grace and posture for a moment. A furious fan told tMF that the only reason she decided to watch the show was to see Rob and the cast of Twilight, but she was so disappointed by how it turned out. What do you expect from a show that believes that promoting shock value is cool? As evidence of Pattinson's growing popularity, the paparazzi has started to target the young actor. Working side by side with these amazing paps is TMZ which posted a video showing Rob and his friends after a night of club-hopping. What makes this incident quite amazing is that Pattinson managed to come out the big winner - - teasing the paps with his dry British humour and leaving them scratching their heads. There was even a drunk female fan who wanted to kiss the young actor. But Rob, in the most charming of ways, prevented the scene from becoming ugly by being nonchalant and accommodating. That's what you call class! But here's the biggest reason why he's at number one: tMF just confirmed what we already expected - - Robert's portrayal of Salvador Dali in Little Ashes is his most impressive performance yet. The film is "stylish and first-rate" and the cast is just "outstanding". [ more news coming up! ] - - - What's on your mind? Do you think we got it right? Are there other young actors we should have mentioned and ranked among the top 3? Tell us who they are! - - - x

Not a screaming tween here, though I'm glad they love him, too. I'm a 30-something who has been a fan since his days as Cedric Diggory. I've loved his BBC roles & bit parts alike. Rob brings a fresh (& oh-so-lovely) face to the screen ~ and always makes you wish for MORE. In my not-so-humble opinion, you are spot on. Rob, Rob & more Rob. Thanks, tMF!

Go Rob!
He is more mature than anyone would expect, and at such a young age it's impressive, and even more impressive with him being a part of young Hollywood. He could be ignoring the paps, the fans, and letting the fame go to his head, but he isn't. He's being a true english gentleman about everything, lets hope things keep going this way.
He is definitely the one generating the most buzz and the one deserving it. Really glad he's under the limelight! Go Rob haha Thanks tMF

its great rob is numero uno. twilight's promotional machine will hopefully roar into his other projects. thats what i really want to see, him diversify. im very excited to see his versatility shine through other characters besides the infamous vampire we all hold on a pedestal, thus making human men obsolete. for instance, dali looks alluring and art looks like a very endearing, relatable character. and as far as off screen goes, hes handling it all like a champ, with that british humour and his perfect exemplication of awkwardness.
i respect rob, but must be fair and comment about daniel and jim. daniel hopefully will not be typecasted and i want to see december boys, im behind on watching the newest dvd releases. and i loved across the universe! havent seen 21 yet, (im a spacey fan too) and im rather inquistive about his new film as well. kudos to all three!

Happy Monday to us all...I am so pleased to see Rob taking the #1 position, an honour he so richly deserves...and as an added bonus I am pleased to see that Zac Efron is where he belongs, off the list...Zac (who really has doesn't anything that spectacular to generate such adoration) should really take a page out of Robert's book, in terms of not letting the fame go to your head!!! Just my opinion...

oooh yeah
You've got that right. Robert Pattinson is DEFINITELY best and hottest! I mean, no comparison! Daniel Radcliffe looks like a girl. Daniel Radcliffe is feminine, whereas Robert Pattinson is so hot, he could cause global warming. Really, though, Rob is so perfect as Edward. I'M SO EXCITED ABOUT NOVEMBER 21ST!!!!!!!

I'm on Pattinson and Sturgess
I LOVE Pattinson dearly, first because he was hot in Goblet of Fire and second because he has a charismatic way to charm people and I won't post it because it would be a long list. It impresses me that Cedric Diggory is such a wonderful actor. He is different but in a way he belongs to everyone. His acting in The Haunted Airman still creeps me out as I really thought he was the real Toby Jugg. And it also creeps me inside and out that he looked, sounded, felt so much like Edward! His generosity plus his funny but smart quotes in interviews made me felt more attraction for him. He has this "I do care but I don't care at all" attitude, where he simply knew what to act on what time of the day. He's amazing! I do smell far more greater roles for him in future. His pick in Dali was, I thought, out of place yet interesting!
Sturgess was good in 21, not really the charming George though in The Other Boelyn Girl. He has this certain points that made him get variety of roles and I felt that he'll do big time in hollywood. Radcliffe, I am so sorry but you don't impress me that much, yet I guess. I still thought Watson and Grint did so much on a better job in Harry Potter series that you did. I might be wrong but he didn't affect me as an actor or as a person.

Yupp. Rob deserves to be #1. He was so gracious about that VMAs thing, even when it was downright rude of Russell Brand to cut him off. Plus, he always jokes with a deadpan face that you can't help but fall in love with his dry British humour. Plus, he's got the best laugh ever. Really. I laugh whenever I hear him laugh! He plays Edward so well, he's become Edward in my mind. Sigh. Twilight, please come onscreen already! Edward, be mine
