Our friends at the Twilight Lexicon informed Twilighters about our most recent poll, and in the subtlest of ways, mentioned that Kristen Stewart was on the list, and perhaps they might want to vote... - - -
 - - - Our friends at His Golden Eyes, of course, broke the news and in normal fashion, voting for both Kristen Stewart and Nikki Reed was heavy, as the fandom went in to a voting frenzy. Fans of Emma Watson also made headway, putting the young Harry Potter star into the spotlight. As might be expected Kristen won by a landslide. She did exactly what her co-star Robert Pattinson did in an earlier poll: dominated the competition. Results shows Stewart with 2,392 votes, followed by her Twilight co-star Nikki Reed with 671, Emma Watson with 293, Keira Knightley got 226 and rounding out the top 5 is our #1 choice, Natalie Portman with 179 votes. I have no idea why some of the comments here sounded like they hated Kristen Stewart. They need to know that Kristen is one amazing actress and in Twilight she'll play the perfect Bella. Just wait and see...That's one comment we received from a fan. Critics of the actress will need to wait until December to make the final judgment, it seems. But Stewart certainly deserves the spotlight - the way she selected the movies she's made is an indication of an intelligent and determined actress. It's just a matter of time, and she'll get there. x

The only reason anyone would dislike Kristen Stewart is because they're jealous that they don't get to play Bella themselves. I wouldn't turn down playing Rob's love interest.
I'm sure she'll be amazing as Bella, and I'll even go so far as to say she'll be better than any of us would be. I'm SO glad the two of them have taken over the polls. I can't wait to see what kind of an impact the movie is going to have. Anyone who isn't aware of the books is in for a surprise when a whole(gigantic) Twilight fandom is revealed.

I've never seen anyone so talented.
Stewart really does deserve that spot. It's not just because she plays Twilight, but mainly because she's a truly great actor.
Seriously, I've never seen any young actors so casual and so talented on acting, very promising. Remember, Jodi Foster credited her and she's critically acclaimed.

Twilight is pretty much taking over the world as we speak. I do belive, that people are going to try to become vampires. That's funny. They're voted because they're in the Twilight movie, and twilighters are so... constant for these things; but I think that this is... I don't know, stupid. I don't like Kristen as a person, neither as actress, but because she's in Twilight I have to love her? No, really. I don't like her in any way. And I'm a fanpire.
But, well, Nikki is a great person. And an amazing actress, she has talent, something that Stewart doesn't know at all. And yes, Nikki is sexy, much more than Stewart. And, of course, Natalie Portman is the best actress and beautiful woman of that weird list.

what's the definition of popular vote?
the title of my comment says it all. Every poll winner is popular. That's the basic fact, and in every poll we did at tMF that has even a minute hint of Twilight, expect the fans to vote for the stars playing roles in the movie. That's expected, they're huge and they're quite organized. We simply cannot take away that from them.
It's a fun poll, but our list is quite serious, hey, without getting personal, is there anyone there who is not a good actress?

I totally agree with you here. Some people judge actors and actresses. They don't know them so they can't say anything. Kristen's acting is the best I've seen since Keira Knightley. She is soooo Expressive. I think people underestimate her. I mean with robert too. People say he is a horrible actor and a rude person. But he really is an awsome actor.
