Ana Bugni is a 19-year-old student at the University of Montana. What I admire about Ana is her unique presence on a number of Twilight sites. She is a fearless poster who speaks her mind and argues intelligently to get her points across. While she has no formal association with any of the leading sites, she often contributes to lots of serious discussions, and if you want to really appreciate how Twilight fans think and feel and wonder and dream, then you need to go no further. Here's our short interview: When did you first read Stephenie's Twilight? How would you sum up your feelings and reactions after finishing the book? Overall, I admire Carlisle the most. You can tell how much he truly cares for his family and it must have taken a lot of courage and willpower to go against his instincts and lead the life he lives. And then to be a doctor, on top of all that, is really impressive! As for who I personally find annoying, Jacob Black tends to get on my nerves. I have a love/hate relationship with him. I think he’s a great kid with good intentions but I don’t agree with some of his tactics. I think that Bella and Edward’s relationship is fascinating. They both have made so many mistakes along the way, but no matter how flawed their relationship is, they’d do anything to be with each other. It’s an unusual take on forbidden love. I’m also intrigued by the dynamics of the entire Cullen family. I’d really like to know more about their relationships with each other and how they interact. I want to know more about Carlisle and Esme’s relationship, as well as Emmett/Rosalie and Alice/Jasper since we never really see them alone together. I’m also curious about the rest of the Cullen’s view on the question of their souls. What's your favorite passages in Twilight? Why? I know it was difficult for some people to let go of certain images of characters that they’ve had in their head and accept the actors, but I think pretty much everyone in the fandom is now starting to realize how dedicated every person involved with the film is. I’m so grateful that they’re working hard to do Stephenie Meyer and her books justice! x |
