While many actors would do anything to become a Hollywood star, here we have someone who is, at most, reluctant to even go to Hollywood! - - -
- - - His role in I'm Not There is so small that many of his fans (myself included) were simply disappointed. After playing the lead in Perfume, we expected to see him taking on more challenging roles. Perhaps we'll get that satisfaction in two of his upcoming films: Brideshead Revisited and Bright Star. Oh and he got another film coming up: The Restraint of Beasts! But going back, why do we love the guy? Why is Ben Whishaw different? What makes him such an awesome actor? If you listen to what he has to say in this interview, then you'll know why: - - - - - -
He is also not afraid to take on controversial roles. Unlike many of his contemporaries in Hollywood, he has no qualms appearing nude or portraying difficult, often problematic characters- roles that would 'tarnish' one's celebrity image. In one of his earlier films, My Brother Tom, it could not get more controversial than this! - - - - - -

What a perfect description from the blog's owner, Jaden: "Raw, sexy, sassy articles explore screenwriting, Hollywood, and life. The SfH website and services are geared to help people sell screenplays to Hollywood, while also encouraging an independent positive spirit."

The Large Association of Movie Blogs has arrived on the scene, and is intended for all audiences.
For movie blog readers: rather than hunting through Google or through any number of blog directories and/or blogrolls looking for a site that fits your liking, this is your one-stop shop. Read up on the latest sites: who's behind them, what their focus is, their goals and what you can expect when visiting.
For movie bloggers: this is a place for your blog to be spotlighted, in its own feature post, for all to see. Additionally, the LAMB is a community of film bloggers, some like you and proably some totally unlike you. We regularly have events and blog-a-thons, from our LAMB Devours the Oscars series to Plot Farms to our annual awards, The LAMMYS.
